Network Infrastructure
A properly designed network is the foundation everything else in the home depends on. We build on Ubiquiti UniFi, with Wi-Fi 6 access points hardwired back to managed core switches, structured Cat6 cabling throughout the house, gateways with embedded firewalls, and remote monitoring that lets us catch and correct most problems before you ever notice them. Your automation, your cameras, your streaming, and your family's work and school days all ride on this network, so we build it to carry everything the home asks of it with room to spare.

How we work
A Reliable Network Is the Foundation of Every Smart Home
Almost every home we visit has Wi-Fi trouble somewhere: a dead spot in the primary bedroom, buffering in the backyard, a control system that cannot reach the thermostat. A bigger router seldom solves any of it. What does solve it is a properly designed UniFi network with managed switching at the core and proactive monitoring on top.
Gateways and firewalls
We install UniFi gateways with embedded firewalls, content filtering, VPN access, and gigabit throughput. Guest, family, and device traffic are kept separate, so your cameras and controllers live on their own segment and stay out of the way of everyone's laptops and tablets.
Managed switching
Reliable, manageable UniFi switches with full PoE+ power your access points, cameras, and door hardware over a single line each. This is the core of a network that carries audio, video, control, and surveillance at the same time without straining.
Hardwired Wi-Fi 6
Wi-Fi 6 access points with WPA3, the 6GHz band, and MU-MIMO are placed for even coverage and hardwired back to the core switch over Cat6. The result is strong, consistent signal that holds up in the far bedroom and out by the pool.
Remote monitoring
We keep an eye on your network with real-time notifications, remote diagnostics, reboots, and firmware updates. Most issues are caught and corrected before you have any reason to pick up the phone, and when you do call, you reach Davis directly.
