Henderson Residence

UniFi network rebuild with a hardwired camera system.

Henderson June 2026

This Henderson home came to us with the two problems we see most: a network that could not keep up with the house, and a patchwork of cameras nobody trusted. We rebuilt both on Ubiquiti UniFi so they run as one system.

The network first

A smart home is only as reliable as the network under it, so we started there. We ran structured Cat6 to each access-point location and hardwired every access point back to a managed UniFi switch, no repeaters. That gives even, strong coverage across the house instead of dead spots in the far rooms.

Hardwired cameras, not battery gear

We install hardwired surveillance only. The cameras here run over a single PoE line back to a local recorder, so footage is always on site and does not depend on the cloud or the internet staying up. We walked the property first, mapped the sightlines that mattered, the driveway, the entrances, the blind corners, then placed cameras to cover them. Smart detection flags people and vehicles instead of firing every time a leaf blows past.

One app, one system

Network and cameras live on the same platform, viewable from a phone, tablet, or in-home panel. The owner has one place to check coverage, pull footage, and see that everything is online.
