This Las Vegas project brought three of our disciplines together on one property: whole-home audio, the network to carry it, and a hardwired camera system, all engineered to run as a single system rather than three that happen to share a house.
A network built to carry everything
We started with structured Cat6 cabling and a UniFi network sized for the whole load: audio, control, and surveillance on managed switching with the family's devices kept on their own segment. Getting the backbone right first is what lets the rest of the system stay fast and dependable.
Whole-home audio on Control4
Music in every room, controlled from one app, with even coverage from zone to zone. In-ceiling and in-wall speakers wired back to a central rack and amplified per zone, then controlled on Control4 so the owner picks a room and a source and it just plays. No portable-speaker sprawl, no separate app for every room.
Hardwired cameras on the same platform
The surveillance system is hardwired UniFi Protect over PoE to a local recorder, with a video doorbell at the entry. It shares the same network and the same app as the rest of the home, so there is one place to manage it all.
