A Las Vegas homeowner wanted reliable eyes on the property without the frustration of consumer cameras that drop offline the moment the Wi-Fi hiccups. We installed a hardwired UniFi Protect system built around coverage, not camera count.
Coverage planned on foot
Before selecting a single camera, we walked the property and listed what the owner needed to see: the entrances, the driveway, and the corners you cannot watch from a window. Camera placement followed from that plan, so nothing critical was left uncovered and nothing was over-bought.
Hardwired and local
Every camera runs over PoE back to a local recorder. Footage is stored on site, so it is fast to pull and does not rely on a cloud subscription or the internet being up when it matters. A UniFi video doorbell at the front entry ties into the same system, so a ring lands on the same app as the cameras.
Viewable from anywhere
The owner reviews live views and recordings from a phone or tablet, with smart detection for people and vehicles filtering out the noise. One secure app, available from anywhere.
